Call a Bike Alanya

I can’t remember when I first ride a bike and learned how to ride a bike but I really felt happy when I bought myself a brand new bike and ride it as I never gave a brake. You know what they say: you never forget how to swim or ride a bike! May be it is because it is fun and sets you free at the same time, who knows?

I have been enjoying watching them installing the city bikes in my town’s streets which rumor has since last year in Alanya. They are installing stations in streets, making tests...

Hanging around in the streets, I have been enjoying the nice and wide pavements with easy to ride arrangements for a long time in Alanya already. Now 20 stations are set in 20 different points with 250 bikes to ease the transportation in town.

The system goes like that: Once the rent a bike option is selected from the digital terminal in the bike station you can pay with a credit card from the terminal. You can leave the rented bike in one of the other stations on your way. Priority is transportation so the prices arranged according to this. First hour is free, 2-4 hours 2,50TL, 5-7 hours 4TL and +8 hours 7TL. I think there will be a decrease in the prices with new arrangements in the future. Bikes with GPS machines on can be followed from internet through satellite system.

The city bikes looks very attractive so sometimes I am thinking to try one of them instead of taking my own...

This system has been on in 4 major cities in Germany and now it is in Alanya. I really can’t think of anything more pleasant than riding your bike on a summer evening, by the shore, through the west of the city to watch the sunset. Or you can ride it in a sunny winter day watching Alanya’s people with a smile on your face; greeting everyone and end your tour to have a cup of coffee in fishers cafe. Okay I like this city and it is my weak side...

I always tell there is no such town like alanya town. I can’t help myself for a little sauciness: God created Alanya for himself but God loves us so much so God left it to us...
